What is the European Solidarity Corps?

The European Solidarity Corps is the new European Union initiative which creates opportunities for young people to volunteer or work in projects in their own country or abroad that benefit communities and people around Europe.

The young people who participate in the European Solidarity Corps will all agree with and uphold its Mission and Principles.

You can register for the European Solidarity Corps when you are 17 years old, but you cannot start a project until you are over 18. European Solidarity Corps projects will be available to people up to the age of 30 years old.

After completing a simple registration process, European Solidarity Corps participants could be selected and invited to join a wide range of projects, such as helping to prevent natural disasters or rebuild afterwards, assisting in centres for asylum seekers, or addressing different social issues in communities.

Projects supported by the European Solidarity Corps can last from two to twelve months. They will usually be located within the European Union Member States.

Dear Students!

Inauguracja Roku Akademickiego dla Studentów Zagranicznych

Po raz kolejny gościmy  na naszej uczelni studentów zagranicznych  realizujących program Erasmus+.  Dwudziestu dwóch studentów z  Niemiec, Włoch, Hiszpanii, Słowacji,Portugalii i Chorwacji wybrało UPJP II, kierując się ciekawą ofertą naszej uczelni oraz jej wyjątkowy charakter. W dniu 06.12.2016 odbył się tzw. Orientation Day, podczas którego nowoprzybyli studenci mogli poznać naszą Uczelnię oraz Kraków. Studenci zostali oficjalnie powitani przez prorektora ds. potencjału naukowego i współpracy międzynarodowej ks.prof. Józefa Stalę oraz  kierownika CNBiWM – Panią mgr Iwonę Bąk. Podczas rozmowy ze studetami  ks. Prorektor Stala zachęcał do korzystania z bazy anukowej i zasobów intelektualnych uczelni. Koordynator programu Erasmus – Pani mgr Urszula Kubiczek przedstawiła szczegółowy plan przebiegu Orientation Day. O historii Uczelni oraz naszym patronie opowiedział Pan Dr Piotr Drąg.  Po tak dużej dawce informacji studenci mogli posilić się tradycyjnymi polskimi wypiekami w ramach II słodkiego śniadania. Następnie, z budynku przy Bernardyńskiej 3 , goście wyruszyli w miasto. Jednym z punktów wycieczki była wizyta w domu Jana Długosza przy Kanoniczej 25 tj. Rektoracie. Oprócz pieszej wycieczki, studenci mieli okazję zwiedzić miasto podczas wycieczki twz. Melexami.
