On 16-20.06.2025, we hosted Ms. Michaela Baltesová from the International Cooperation Office at the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice. The meeting was part of the Erasmus+ program (STT, KA131). The visit to the Main Library building was an opportunity to present the profile of the UPJPII's activities, with particular emphasis on developing the thought of John Paul II, the patron of the university and the donor of numerous publications belonging to his private collection gathered during his entire pontificate. The BWM team had the opportunity to exchange experiences related to the activities for the internationalization of the university and best practices they use in their everyday work.

Ms. Michaela was shown around various buildings of our university and met with the employees of the rector's office at ul. Kanonicza 25. Dr. Aleksandra Mirek-Rogowska presented the infrastructure of the Academic Media Center, presenting the methods of education at the Faculty of Communication Sciences. As part of the cultural programme, the BWM team organised a joint visit to the Czartoryski Museum, where Ms. Michaela had the opportunity to become acquainted with Polish history and art. She also visited the Treasures of the Kraków Chapter exhibition at the university library, where she was guided by Joanna Świtała, art historian and licensed guide in Kraków.
