Erasmus+ students explore Krakow

02.07.2025 General Students

The summer semester is coming to an end, Erasmus+ students will soon return to their home universities, taking with them the experience and knowledge gained at the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow. However, studying abroad is not only about learning, but also about getting to know another culture. A completed semester calls for celebration, which is why the BWM team organized a guided tour during which students could learn about the history of the Polish state and visit important places on the map of Krakow, including Wawel Hill, the cathedral, the royal tombs and St. Mary's Basilica. The tour, which took place on 13.06.2025, was guided by Joanna Świtała, an art historian and licensed guide in Krakow. The students enjoyed the trip and declared that they would miss Poland.
